Nick joined WCEC Architects in March 2014 following 14 successful years at Lewis and Hickey Architects. He now plays an active role in the company’s main base in Derbyshire, as well as their central London office.

At L&H Nick progressed through the business from a junior level up to the Group’s management Board. He was the managing director for the company’s Manchester and Nottingham offices. He is an experienced architect and has worked in all stages of construction; from feasibility through to completion, across a diverse range of projects and sectors. These include; Banking | Education | Healthcare | Leisure | Masterplanning | Mixed-use | Residential | Retail | Student Living and Workplace.

Over the last five years, his primary focus has been in the Higher Education sector, working with Universities and also Student Living operators and developers extensively. He has overseen the design and development of over 14,000 student bedrooms designed and delivered over the last eight years.

Nick is very people orientated and actively manages a wide network of contacts. His skills lie in being able to clearly define and inform a clients requirements and aspirations succinctly, to deliver creative, dynamic and robust architecture which combines best practice and new ideas.
